CYBERSECURITY: IT'S MORE THAN A TRENDING BUZZWORD
February 24 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Webinar
"My company is pretty safe from hackers and online security risks." A pretty common observation.
Consider this: Organizations with 1-250 employees have the highest malicious email rate at 1 in 323. Manufacturing companies account for nearly 25% of all ransomware attacks (Rob Sobers, Varonis).
- The average ransom payment increased to $233,817 in the 3rd quarter 2020
- In 2020 there was a 40% surge in global ransomware
- Only 3% of the users report phishing emails to the management
- 30% of phishing emails are opened by users, and 12% of these targeted users click on the malicious link or attachment
Still think this is a trending buzzword topic?
What can your company do before it becomes an unfortunate statistic?
This session will focus on the top ways companies lose data and the best ways to protect your company from problems caused by security issues. Join IT expert Scott Stone, ACT, as we explore best practices to protect company data -- be it on a server (LAN), in transit (via email or shared access) or in the cloud (Cloud storage or SaaS). We'll look at recommended system backup as well.

Featured NTMA Benefit
Executive Compensation Survey
This survey includes not only the C-Suite, like the CEO & CFO, but also several salaried positions, like foreman and office manager.
The Operating Costs (OC) survey was separated from the Executive Compensation (EC) survey because they have different target audiences. The Operating Cost Survey is more targeted to the CEO or CFO. The Executive Compensation Survey is aimed at H.R. The survey has been scheduled around W-2 season to make completion more convenient for HR departments and to increase survey participation.
Innovative Excel Dashboard
The 2021 NTMA Executive Compensation Report will be delivered in an Excel© dashboard that allows you to create a customized report in a more efficient and user-friendly format. The interactive Dashboard allows you to select the specific columns of data you want to benchmark against your company.
Member participation in the survey helps provide the best industry data possible, plus if enough members participate, the report will profile salaries in your chapter.
Final deadline is February 28th! (After the 15th it will be extended to the end of February).
2021 NTMA Executive Compensation Report is FREE only to participating members!
