2019 Sponsor Opportunities
The NWPA Chapter NTMA teams are continually brainstorming how we can help our members to build their workforce. We have recently launched a web page developed to provide resources about manufacturing for parents, students, and those looking to find a new career. The landing page includes facts about careers in manufacturing, links to occupational information (o*net), what training is available, and current job openings.
We are in the process of delivering yard signs to our member companies to help promote the site. If you haven’t received your sign yet and are anxious to participate, please contact [email protected] and we will get one to you right away.
Members are also encouraged to post job openings on the site. Ads will stay active for 90 days unless you request to remove or extend it. Companies that have job posts on their own website may state "Accepting Applications" in the title and provide a brief description of your company and direct link to your site in the Copy giving you one less place you need to update when position openings are filled. To access the form, visit nwpa-ntma.com and select “Post A Job Opening” under Quick Links.
Contact Tami Adams (814)720-0094 or [email protected] with questions.

The annual NTMA Wage & Fringe Benefit Survey is under way!
The survey examines high, low, and average wage rates for 34 job functions giving you better feedback than ever before for the range of competitive plant wages in your NTMA chapter, your region, by sales size and by line of business. The survey also covers fringe benefits offered for plant employees. This data is useful for recruiting and employee promotion purposes.
There have been a number of articles in the Wall Street Journal lately on the low unemployment and challenges manufacturers face retaining skilled workers, let alone trying to hire new employees. The wage rate benchmarks in today's employment environment may be more valuable to NTMA members now than at any time in the last decade.
To guarantee complete confidentiality of your company’s data, all responses will be sent directly to and compiled by Mackay Research Group, an outside organization that specializes in survey research. Only aggregate results of the survey will be released.
To ensure a comprehensive report we need your participation! To complete a survey, click on the link for the format you wish to use and return your completed survey to Mackay Research Group as noted on thesurvey.
Please, be sure to send in your completed survey by November 30, 2018.
IMPORTANT: Only members that participate in the survey will receive the final report at no charge.
