Scholarships Available: Fields of Manufacturing

There are several scholarships available through the NWPA NTMA Education Foundation typically ranging from $500-$1,000 per scholarship.  Students are considered for all scholarships with one Application.  

Scholarship Application Deadline Annually April 20.   

  1. Applicants must reside in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
  2. Applicants must be a graduating senior from a NWPA high school*, or have graduated high school or equivalent and are currently unemployed, underemployed, or an incumbent worker residing in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
  3. Applicants must be accepted into a secondary institution or training facility to further their education relating to the manufacturing industry.* (acceptance letter must be provided)
  4. Applicants grades and attendance will be reviewed, with a high school transcript provided by the Applicant.  
  5. Applicants must provide at least one letter of recommendation.
  6. Applicants must complete a short essay explaining why they are interested in pursuing a career within the manufacturing industry.
  7. Recipients will be selected by the NWPA NTMA Education Foundation Scholarship Committee.

*Special criteria for Crawford Heritage Community Foundation Scholarships: Applicant must be a graduating senior from a high school in Crawford County.  Preference is given to an applicant who plans to pursue a certificate or degree in the fields such as, machining and CNC programming, mechanical, electrical, technical and/or precision engineering, industrial maintenance, and robotics.
