2023 RoboBOTS Results

12 Schools ~ 25 Bots ~ 1 Competition

Robobots 2023

RoboBOTS was held on March 25 at Meadville Area Senior High.  There were over 160 students involved in RoboBOTS throughout the 17th school year of the program.  The Northwestern PA Chapter of the NTMA to host this event annually.  Over 1,000 spectators came to cheer on their favorite BOT during the double elimination competition.  

Many thanks to the volunteers* who helped with preparation leading up to the event, setup, throughout the day, and tear down - Thank You!  Thanks also to Armstrong for recording the event again this year and shout out to Jon Durand, Robot Combat Announcer, for volunteering to spend his day with us as well.  Thanks to Acutec Precision Aerospace team for building the trophies this year.  And special thanks and recognition to Judy Fairlamb who been the lead at the scoring table and kept us organized on event day since the inception of the program in 2016.  This event is not possible without the help of these volunteers, the teacher / advisors, the support of administration and our sponsors! 

Competing schools included: Cambridge Springs, Cochranton, Commodore Perry, Conneaut Area, Conneaut Valley, Erie High, General McLane, Parker Middle, Maplewood, Meadville, Saegertown, and West Middlesex.  Iroquois and North East had hoped to compete but they were unable to make it at the last minute.  Many thanks to the teachers for all the time they invest in the program and to the administrators for their continued support!

2nd Place: Team Hog Squad, BOT Hog Rider, Cochranton Jr-Sr High

3rd Place: Team Mischief, BOT Loki, Cambridge Springs Jr-Sr High
