Equipment and Software Grants

The NWPA NTMA Education Foundation has allocated $16,000 to award schools with matching funds for equipment or software to enhance their industry related classroom training.  The Foundation has been able to direct over $120,000 to benefit 32 projects in Crawford, Erie, Mercer, Warren and Venango County schools since its inception in 2012.  Most of the funding is made possible through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program - the Foundation is an approved Educational Improvement Organization based on our academic outreach programs such as RoboBOTS and this grant program.  Private donations from local businesses and contributions from the NWPA Chapter NTMA have also been used to help fund over $20,000 in requests outside the EITC program. 

Grant Application Deadline Annually September 20.
