There are several scholarships available through the NWPA NTMA Education Foundation ranging from $500-$4,110 per scholarship.  Students may apply for more than one scholarship with one Application.  

Scholarship Application Deadline Annually April 20.   

  1. Applicants must reside in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
  2. Applicants must be a graduating senior from a NWPA high school*, or have graduated high school or equivalent and are currently unemployed, underemployed, or an incumbent worker residing in Northwestern Pennsylvania. They must be accepted into a secondary institution or training facility to further their education relating to the manufacturing industry.* (acceptance letter must be provided)
  3. Applicants grades and attendance will be reviewed, with a high school transcript provided by the Applicant.
  4. Applicants must provide at least one letter of recommendation.
  5. Applicants must complete a short essay explaining why they are interested in pursuing a career within the manufacturing industry.
  6. Recipients will be selected by the NWPA NTMA Education Foundation Scholarship Committee.

*Special criteria for Crawford Heritage Community Foundation Scholarships: Applicant must be a graduating senior from a high school in Crawford County.  Preference is given to an applicant who plans to pursue a certificate or degree in the fields such as, machining and CNC programming, mechanical, electrical, technical and/or precision engineering, industrial maintenance, and robotics.
