State Registered Tool Maker, CNC Machinist, and Mold DesignER Apprenticeship Programs 

      

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN OFFERING AN APPRENTICESHIP AT YOUR BUSINESS?

The NWPA Chapter NTMA is the sponsor of three state approved group apprenticeship programs. This provides the opportunity for NTMA Member companies to train and certify apprentices through the Chapter’s programs without the need to maintain individual apprenticeship programs. It’s a simplified way to expedite apprenticeship training in the following areas:

TOOL MAKER CNC MACHININST MOLD DESIGNER
  • 8,000 on the job training hours or equivalent NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skill) credentials completed at Employer
  • Minimum 576 related technical instruction offered through an online training program NTMAU
  • 8,000 on the job training hours or equivalent NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skill) credentials completed at Employer
  • Minimum 576 related technical instruction offered through an online training program NTMAU and relevant programming provider
  • 8,000 on the job training hours  completed at Employer
  • Minimum 576 related technical instruction offered through an online training program NTMAU and relevant design software provider
